After breaking ground in November 2025, Spokane Region Long Term Recovery (SRLTRG) is proud to celebrate the completion of five new homes for families impacted by the Oregon Road Fire. These homes represent the successful completion of Phase 2 of our recovery efforts, helping families once again walk through the front door of a place they can call home following the devastating fires of August 2023.
This achievement was made possible through the collaboration and support of Innovia Foundation, Christian Public Service (CPS), Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS), United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), and Spokane County. Together, these partners helped build homes for 13 families affected by both the Oregon Road and Gray Road Fires.
While this milestone is worth celebrating, the recovery journey continues. SRLTRG remains committed to supporting individuals and families impacted by the August 18, 2023 fires as they rebuild their homes, restore their lives, and strengthen their communities.
